Inspiring a cult of guitar twangers, Redd made his name as lead picker with Merle Haggard & the Strangers. A native of Vancouver, BC, he was an in-demand studio pro in LA and Nashville before moving to Austin in 2000. He's recorded two internationally-distributed solo projects for Hightone Records out of Oakland, CA, and often performs with Cindi Cashdollar.
